A blend of old vine Mataro and Shiraz grown in Ebenezer in the Northern Barossa. Matured for 10 months in a mix of older (Mataro) and new (Shiraz) French oak, before being blended and bottled in February 2018.

A blend that we love, combining the best of both varieties, the Mataro brings earthy savouriness, and the Shiraz brings fruit weight, body and length to the blend. A wine that is drinking very well on release that will suit a range of foods from red meats through classic Italian dishes.

Grape Variety: 80% Mataro / 20% Shiraz

Technical Details: Alc 14.0%. 600 bottles filled.

Cellaring: 5 years plus
