2017 Winemaker's Selection Grenache (from $40)

from 40.00

Our 2017 Winemaker’s Selection Grenache was sourced from a small patch of old vines in the Ebenezer sub-region of the Barossa Valley. 2017 was a lovely vintage characterised by beautifully elegant fruit flavours. The fruit was a perfect match for our ceramic egg, spending 3 months on skins prior to 6 weeks maturation before bottling.

The wine mirrors the delicate nature of the vintage. A beautiful garnet tinged with purple, pretty violets and field flowers on the nose, mouth filling flavours of red summer fruits, delicate spices and wonderful length with lingering textural tannin. A beautiful wine to be enjoyed now and in the medium term.
