At Hayes Family Wines we recognise the merits of cellaring. We appreciate the evolutionary nature of some wines and we make our wines with the ability to cellar and improve in the bottle under the right cellaring conditions. We do however recognise that in today’s world, cellaring conditions in modern houses or apartments are far from ideal. The lifestyles we live can also make this inherently difficult to create and maintain a cellar. But this should not deter you from cellaring. All wine lovers should have the opportunity to enjoy wines with age. Wines that have developed the secondary characters that only come with time in the cellar in the right conditions. Hayes Family Wines have access to ample cellaring space in the Barossa Valley and therefore are proud to offer a cellaring service for all our wines, the Family Cellar.

At Hayes Family Wines we make our wines to be cellared, but for many, with limited space, and less than ideal cellaring conditions, cellaring is not an option. For you, Hayes Family Wines are excited to offer a cellaring service, The Family Cellar for our wines.
How it works:
Purchase any Hayes Family Wines in a 6 pack or combinations of 6 (they can be mixed)
Select and purchase a cellaring period, that is the 3 years with optional extension period (at $2.50 per bottle per year or $45 per 6 pack for 3 years)
At anytime, we can send you your chosen 6pack from your collection to your preferred Australian destination at no additional cost (in 6 pack configurations as stored)
You choose to take delivery before the expiry of your selected cellaring period but you will forfeit your pre-paid cellaring amount.
We have purposely made this simple, purchase your wine, purchase your cellaring term, we cellar, and when you are ready we will send your wines to you at your preferred Australian location.
