Technical Tasting Notes
2024 MATARO Shiraz
This wine comes from a single barrel of Mataro Shiraz, blended from the ferment from a selection of our Estate and Ebenezer Vineyards in the Northern Barossa Valley. This wine was last made in 2016, and is often talked about, but rarely scene. When the opportunity came to produce again, we jumped on it. And we are very happy we did. We are sure you will too.
Deep bright red tinged with purple. An obvious richness present on the nose and palate, but balanced by an earth savouriness. 2024 is a fruit forward vintage, and this wine is all the best for it. Lovely fruit, but composed and balanced. Drink or cellar.
