NV Very Old ‘Rare’ Tawny Batch 5
TASTING NOTE
Drinking just beautifully on release. This Tawny has very focused fruit flavours, apricots, caramel, some rancio characters, finishing with excellent length and crisp acidity. Medium weight, it is rich and fleshy. This wine carries more spice then the Grand Tawny from this release due to the touriga component that is integral in the blend.

95 Points - (Batch No.5) Golden amber in the glass. Lifted aromas of caramelised fig, nutty rancio, sweet spice, toffee and polished leather. Mouth-filling, luscious and layered, but with plenty of texture, cut and drive from the alcohol and acidity. Complex and quite delicious 16 Feb 2025
