NV Sparkling Shiraz (Edition IV)

$90.00

Our first 3 disgorgements of our sparkling shiraz were based predominantly on 2004 and 2005 shiraz from our property. But having exhausted those stocks, Andrew and I have been accumulating components since the 2016 vintage. With the blend completed in early 2023, the process for the next release could begin. After leaving this to integrate, we used traditional winemaking techniques to create our Sparkling Shiraz in a relative dry style (compared to traditional sparkling reds) with the addition of a little 2021 Hayes Family Wines Fortified Shiraz to add something special.

The NV Sparkling Shiraz (Edition IV) was disgorged in October 2025. Like many of the best Sparkling Shiraz, it shows great complexity on release, a red wine first, a sparkling second, drinking beautifully now, but sure to improve with some time in the cellar.
