The Marananga Wine Show is unquestionably one of a kind. It’s is Australia’s only sub-regional wine show.
Exclusive to wines made from grapes grown only within the Western Barossa sub-region, the show offers a unique, in-depth appreciation of one of the Barossa Valley’s most highly acclaimed districts.
It is a pleasure to participate as a proud Western Barossa producer. To win a trophy, truly exciting. To receive that trophy from one of our strongest supporters and owner of one of the world’s best Pubs, the Greenock, leaves me thirsty, Thanks Chris!
Australia have traditionally led the way with label validation, but perhaps not transparency. But things are changing. Mandatory recycling wording, barcodes, and energy information will soon be mandated on Australian Wine Labels. This is good for honest operators and could be a turning point for others.
