Dragan Radocaj

Dragan Radocaj is an incredible fine art photographer based in the Barossa. He has taken many of the great photos that I am sure you have admired over the years for us, and most if not all the other wineries of the Barossa Valley. He is a man of rare talent. He also has one of most interesting stories that any individual I have ever encountered. His pictures tell the stories of the Barossa Valley Vineyards, its people and of course its wine.

What is important to me is what he has done for the Barossa more broadly, and myself and Hayes Family Wines more specifically. He is a great mate. He is always welcome at our Members Lunches each year (and he always attends). We have wonderful chats over coffee or a drink at the winery. Our backgrounds could be no more different, but our love for the Barossa and what we individually do is so similar.

When I decided to write a book on Grenache in the Barossa, Barossa Grown, Dragan was the first on board. His photographs feature throughout the book, front to back, you can find the book here Grenache Barossa Grown (hayesfamilywines.com). His photographs were truly sensational.
