Hayes Family Wines Unlabelled / Bin Ends Pack
Hayes Family Wines is a small winery with typically small run wines. Often our wines are made in single barrel or two barrel lots. When dealing with bottling small volumes, variations in the process (either bottling or the volume provided) means that sometimes we end up with some labels left over, or the reverse, a small number of bottles that are left unlabelled. The unlabelled volumes are typically less than 20 bottles, sometimes less than 10 of any given wine.
Our single vineyard wines are individually bottle numbered which makes it impossible to reprint the lost or damaged labels. And hence, we end up with a small volume of unlabelled bottles in some of our runs. These are not knock-offs or cleanskins in the traditional sense, but a finished product, identical to the labelled product. Volumes are by definition small.
Traditionally we have left these sit in the winery where we have consumed them from time to time but now, 10 years on, there are a significant number unlabelled that we are storing and that are taking up space. Our loss is your gain. We are offering these at a minimum 50% discount. The wines are unlabelled. They can be purchased in 12 bottle lots. Each pack will contain different wines. All wines are red.
The packing list will contain a list of wines that you receive, but individual bottles will not be labelled nor marked in anyway.
