Grenache Barossa Grown

Grenache is truly the underappreciated, if not undiscovered, jewel in the crown of the Barossa. On September 17, 2021 we celebrate World Grenache Day with the pre-release of our book Grenache - Barossa Grown. It is an exploration of Barossa Grenache by myself, Brett Hayes, and my good friend Brisbane-based wine writer Steve Leszczynski.

With input from more than 15 Barossa winemakers, we take a journey through the Barossa Valley reviewing each region and tasting more than 140 wines.

We explore the history of Grenache, where and how it is grown and the producers and wines of the Barossa.

Why does Grenache taste different? Why are there different styles? Does Grenache age?

Whether you are a Grenache lover or just looking to discover more, this will be a great read and at just $20 plus delivery, it’s a bargain.

We are looking to publish in time for Christmas, but pre-orders will receive first delivery. Copies are limited, so order early.
